Waxy Texture Sensations (C24–C29 Alkanes)
Long‑chain n‑alkanes like tetracosane (C24) through nonacosane (C29) create a progressively stronger waxy sensation as chain length increases. Their very low solubility at room temperature and high melting points cause them to form microcrystalline domains that change the tactile feel.

Oleo taste sensation was added to the Digitizer results.
For a long time, scientists believed humans could only taste five things:
sweet, sour, salty, bitter, umami.
But research over the last decade has shown that humans can detect fat as a distinct taste, often called:
• Oleo
• Oleogustus
• Fat taste
This sensation is triggered primarily by fatty acids, especially oleic acid, which is where the term oleo comes from.
